As a Pupil at Yarmouth C E Primary School….

I have a chance to think and my thoughts are listened to

I have many chances to showcase and develop my talents

I am encouraged to understand my emotions and manage them

I have the chance to reach my full potential in all areas of learning

I am encouraged to develop my social skills and how to use them

I am encouraged to develop a healthy lifestyle

I experience the joy of discovering nature and learning from my environment

I am an important member of my school community, my locality, my country and my world

At Yarmouth C E Primary School….

There are no ‘invisible’ children

All engage

Many will shine

Some may excel

We are all special member’s of God’s big family

Yarmouth Primary is a school that really seeks to be the centre of the local community. We actively encourage parents, grandparents and friends to regularly support the children in their learning, as well as enjoying many events organised by the school.

We are very proud of our school, and seek to provide opportunities for both pupils and staff to learn and grow together. We all believe that children can achieve more when home and school are able to work together in a mutually supportive atmosphere.

Our Values….

Independence

Respect

The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Yarmouth provide an education underpinned by Christian values; this is reflected in our relationships with pupils, staff and the wider community. We seek to care for each other, encourage each other and accept each other as a unique individual. Reconciliation and forgiveness are key elements of our life together.

To support children through their journey in our schools, we believe in positive management of behaviour which reflects our values.

The following principles are promoted within Yarmouth C E Primary School:

• All members of the school community have a right to feel safe

• All members of the school community have a right to respect

• All members of the school community have a right to learn

We believe it is the responsibility of everyone in our federation to promote our nurturing ethos and to make positive choices about their behaviour, take responsibility for their own actions, and promote the development of positive self esteem and well being.
